Here at Asthall Farm, we are passionate about giving beginners the opportunity to play Polo for a realistic cost. Our experienced, patient Instructors are on hand to make sure that your first polo experience is safe and enjoyable. We run One on One and group lessons on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, as well as our "Introduction to Polo days"...

This course is aimed firmly at complete newcomers to the sport or those who have tried the game and want to progress...
10am Arrive, Coffee
10.30am Briefing - get some background on the sport and an idea of what to expect!
11.00am Polo Tactics - With the aid of the video and the blackboard we give you an insight in to basic tactics and rules!
11.30am Introduction to the Polo Swing - Climb aboard the wooden horse and learn the art of "The Polo Swing!”
12.30pm Riding for Polo - Forget classical Equitation, this is polo! Learn how to get the best out of a pony on our highly trained steeds.
1.00pm Lunch - Re charge and get some fuel on board, its not over yet!
2.00pm Stick and Ball - Put together what you’ve learnt on the wooden horse and the pony!
3.00pm Mini Tournament - The climax of the day, glory awaits the victors in our arena tournament!
4.30pm Prize giving and Champagne - Ease those aches and pains with a glass of bubbles!
